Bryon Parnell, Chief Operating Officer
Bryon Parnell has more than 20 years of experience helping companies grow and improve their businesses through strategic planning, fiscal management, organizational and process design, systems implementation, team building, and the development of operational disciplines. Bryon leads our business operations and is responsible for ensuring our products and services meet our clients’ needs.
Bryon previously served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Services for ANGEL Learning, Inc. Bryon ensured the company had the operational and financial capabilities to grow its business, while also focusing on building business models that enabled the company to better serve its customers. Bryon guided the company through multiple growth phases including its acquisition by Blackboard (NASDAQ: BBBB) in May 2009.
Prior to working with ANGEL Learning, Bryon co-founded Payton, LLC, a firm specializing in finance and accounting services. He also worked for ten years in business consulting at a Big 5 accounting firm. Bryon is a graduate of Indiana University.
