As VMworld heats up and the Bluelock team meets with the more than 20,000 attendees at the Moscone in San Francisco, it’s a great time to mark the momentum Bluelock gained this year through our attainment of numerous certifications, enhancements of our customer portal and leverage of key partnerships.
Continuing to enhance its solutions for secure, regulated managed cloud hosting and recovery, Bluelock undertook several internal audits to comply with certification requirements. Bluelock is now a SAP-certified provider of cloud services and hosting services and complies with the U.S. – E.U. Safe Harbor Framework. These certifications confirm Bluelock’s ability to deliver high-quality cloud and hosting services for customers with high-potential, high-risk workloads.
“As a company that protects and recovers critical and valuable applications, we believe high-quality operational standards and data security are pillars of the Bluelock service,” said Martin Van Buren, chief operations officer of Bluelock. “Obtaining these certifications demonstrates our focus on robust processes and procedures, and our ability to provide a secure hosting service for our customers.”
In tandem with VMware’s recent unveiling of the VMware vCloud Air Network, Bluelock is embracing the evolving vCloud ecosystem to leverage its new VMware Hybrid Cloud Powered status and continue to deliver tightly integrated VMware-based solutions to customers. This year Bluelock also invested heavily in training its key partners on Recovery-as-a-Service (RaaS). With the launch of Bluelock’s RaaS Certification Program, Bluelock output more than 100 technical experts skilled in RaaS who are now enabling successful recovery solutions in the marketplace.
Bluelock continues to stay ahead of the market with its proprietary cloud cost analysis tool, Bluelock Portfolio™, by providing transparency into cloud infrastructure and insight that enables better decision-making. Bluelock Portfolio provides customers with insightful data and views into spend and resource usage so they can make better business decisions; and, today it remains the only cloud management tool providing predictive analytics based on historical usage.
“Bluelock excels at delivering insight and results for clients, and this year we’ve chosen to invest even further in our customer portal,” explains Bluelock CEO Christopher Clapp. “By listening to our customers, Bluelock has been able to consistently push out new features and functionality within Bluelock Portfolio that help IT teams deliver more strategic value to their businesses.”
Visit Bluelock this week at VMworld 2014 (August 24-28) in San Francisco at the Moscone Center. Bluelock will exhibit at Booth #2335 and will be available to discuss its managed cloud hosting and recovery services.
