Bluelock’s Pat O’Day Named a Cloud Influencer, Thought Leader

June 29, 2012 by Alicia Gaba

Bluelock loves being on lists, but we love it even more when our team members are recognized for their outstanding work. Recently Bluelock CTO Pat O’Day was named to Wired’s ‘Top 10 Cloud Influencers, Thought Leaders’ on its Cloudline blog.

Pat, a co-founder of Bluelock, has been extremely instrumental in forging the VMware vCloud® public and hybrid cloud missions ahead. He wrote the original entry to Wikipedia for “Infrastructure-as-a-Service” before anyone was talking about it. That’s Pat for you – always ahead of the curve and thankfully, taking Bluelock ans its customers right alongside him with the help of a dedicated crew of Bluelockers.

On behalf of the Bluelock team, congratulations Mr. Pat O’Day for being recognized as the influencer you are!

What Wired had to say about Pat:

Pat O’Day, CTO & co-founder, Bluelock – As a visionary behind the IaaS business model, O’Day helped Bluelock become one of the most strategic VMware cloud providers and one of the first to offer the VMware vCloud Datacenter Service. He also proved Bluelock to be a main contender in a sea of tech giants when they landed in the “Leaders” quadrant of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Public Cloud IaaS.
