Why banks are finally embracing cloud computing  

With public cloud vendors improving their solutions and offerings, this American Banker article by Penny Crossman states banks are now embracing the cloud. In the article Crossman references information released by PricewaterhouseCoopers stating that 71% of bank executives surveyed state they plan to invest in cloud. That’s a 4-fold increase compared to the previous study. The article states test/dev and operations as the core use cases for banks today.

Cloud computing on Xbox One, PS4 to offer real massive worlds

How will the cloud change gaming? According to Prarthito Maity in his article posted on GameNGuide, it will change it greatly. Maity quotes Umbra lead support engineer Lappalainen who argues the ability to harness background compute is ideal when you leverage cloud with the console. The article also predicts with greater compute will come more characters, build-your-own-content and more dynamic systems.
