What’s the magic formula for retaining your top IT talent? Is it money? Flex hours? Free food in the break room?  According to this CIO article by Jennifer Lonoff Schiff, it’s something of a mix of answers.  According to a survey of 2,600 Linux pros, they requested more money, better work/life balance, and a flex schedule/telecommuting.  Beyond those three, however, she dug deeper and came up with eight bigger concepts that lead to talent retention in IT.
