Martin Van Buren Selected as Bluelock COO

As Bluelock grows and evolves its service offerings, it's also growing and evolving its company culture. In addition to the seven openings Bluelock is currently accepting resumes for, Bluelock announced this week the appointment of Martin Van Buren as Chief Operations Officer (COO). 

Van Buren joins Bluelock after having spent more than 25 years in the finance and technology industries, 12 years of which were spent as an executive leader.  Van Buren brings a depth of knowledge to the Bluelock executive team with his experience leading organizations through technology-driven change. As COO, Van Buren will be responsible for all activities related to creating a superior customer experience including: Engineering, Customer Services, Professional Services and the Network Operations Center. He plans to focus on driving operational efficiency to facilitate accelerated growth for Bluelock.

Prior to joining Bluelock, Martin served as an executive leader at ITT Educational Services with roles including EVP & CIO as well as the SVP of the Learning Technologies group. In his nine years at ITT, Martin gained experience with multiple technology stacks including VMware, open source and other proprietary technology.  His responsibilities also included overseeing a datacenter migration, an enterprise virtualization project and upgrading change management and control processes. Martin spent three years at Deloitte as a senior manager in the Process & Technology Improvement practice working with companies like Amway and Johnson & Johnson and leading IT infrastructure projects.
