February 19, 2013 by Diana Nolting

The Infrastructure-as-a-Service industry is enjoying a period of tremendous growth right now. As a certified VMware vCloud® Datacenter provider of virtual datacenters hosted in the public cloud, Bluelock has seen this demand and growth opportunity in the industry first-hand.

In response to both the industry forecasts and our own customer demand, Bluelock is proud to announce the opening of a new datacenter location in Las Vegas, NV.

This new tier 4, SSAE Type II (formerly SAS 70) and SOC3 compliant datacenter facility will serve clients in the U.S and overseas, enhancing connectivity and reducing latency.

“This top of the line, high-availability datacenter has abundant capacity to serve our clients in the U.S. with a stronger coast-to-coast presence as well as globally,” said Pat O’Day, chief technology officer, Bluelock. “As more companies begin to compete in the global marketplace, access to technology resources is critical to efficiently deliver applications and services to a broad customer base.”
